Family Tree Chart Maker
Turn a list of relatives into a correctly laid-out family tree poster (PDF, SVG, GEDCOM).
Family Tree Chart Maker turns relatives described in plain words into a genealogy chart: generations line up in rows, couples sit side by side, half-siblings hang from the right marriage, siblings run in birth order, adoptions are dashed and twins share a branch. Choose an all-family chart, descendants of a couple, a pedigree (ancestor) chart, an hourglass, or a half-circle fan chart, then download a vector PDF poster (Letter, A4, A2, 18x24 or 24x36 in), an SVG, or a GEDCOM 5.5.1 file for genealogy software. It also names how two people are related (second cousin once removed, great-aunt, half-brother, in-laws).
What it does
- Five chart types: all relatives, descendants, ancestors (pedigree), hourglass, and fan chart
- Genealogy layout: aligned generations, couples together, remarriages and half-siblings, siblings by birth order, adoption and twin markers
- Overlap-free tidy-tree layout for 1-200 people
- Vector PDF posters at Letter, A4, A2, 18x24 in and 24x36 in, auto-fitted, with Polish, Greek, Cyrillic and Japanese names
- SVG and GEDCOM 5.5.1 downloads so the data moves to other genealogy apps
- Relationship finder: cousins, removed cousins, half relations, great-aunts, in-laws and step relations

Limitations
- Up to 200 people per chart; download links hold about 120 people (fewer with long names), larger trees should be split by branch
- PDF names print Latin, Greek, Cyrillic and Japanese (common kanji and kana); other scripts (Chinese simplified, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew) show in the SVG only
- No photos, sources, notes or places; GEDCOM files are exported, not imported
- Relationship names are in English
